Tarbert is the final place you will pass through on the way to the Islay ferry terminal at Kennacraig which is approximately 5 miles south of Tarbert. The village is a picturesque fishing village with a number of recommended Bed and Breakfast accommodation and a selection of Hotels, many of the b&b's will provide an early breakfast and transport to the Islay Ferry upon request, so do ask!
